How We Help
Let's Retrofit A Million (LRAM) connects the dots in the communities at greatest risk to climate change impacts. Organizing communities through partnerships with local organization, national organizations, campuses, and residents. In 2009, Let’s Retrofit A Million (formally Let's Raise A Million) completed its pilot program that involved students in Atlanta, GA (Agnes Scott, Clark-Atlanta, Emory, Georgia Tech, Georgia State, Morehouse and Spelman) and Grambling, LA (Grambling) at work to install CFLs and educate residents of limited income in neighborhoods surrounding the campuses. Now LRAM has expanded it's plug and play model to give, community organizations, and residents the ability to bring energy efficiency, water conservation, urban gardening, and youth empowerment to their communities.
